Frequently asked questions

Getting started & new patients

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, patients of all ages are welcome across West Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley. Call us at 604-856-7860 or book online to get started.

How do I book my first appointment?

Request an appointment online or call 604-856-7860 and our front desk will find a time that works for you. Completing your forms ahead of time speeds up check-in.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring a piece of photo ID, your dental insurance details, a list of any medications you take, and the name of your previous dentist if you’d like us to request records.

How long does a first dental visit take?

Plan for about 60 to 90 minutes. That gives us time for a thorough exam, any X-rays, a cleaning when appropriate, and a real conversation about your goals, without feeling rushed.

Do you see nervous or anxious patients?

Absolutely, and you won’t be judged. Tell us you’re nervous when you book and we’ll take extra time, explain everything, and agree on a signal you can use to pause anytime.

Insurance, CDCP & cost

Do you offer direct billing to insurance?

Yes. Wherever your plan allows it, we bill your insurer directly so you only pay your portion at the appointment instead of waiting for a reimbursement. Bring your plan details to your first visit.

Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?

We support patients using the Canadian Dental Care Plan and will help you understand what it covers. Because program details can change, please call 604-856-7860 so we can confirm the current details for your situation.

What if I don’t have dental insurance?

You’re still welcome here. We keep pricing transparent, give written estimates before treatment, and offer payment options so you can spread the cost of larger treatment over time.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. For larger treatments we can arrange payment options so you can spread the cost over time rather than paying all at once. We’ll explain what’s available when we review your estimate.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, debit, and major credit cards, and we bill most insurance plans directly. If you’re using the Canadian Dental Care Plan, we’ll help you understand how it applies.

Visits, hours & emergencies

Where are you located and what are your hours?

We’re at 117-3250 Mt Lehman Rd in West Abbotsford. We’re open Monday and Wednesday 9 to 5, Tuesday 11 to 7, Thursday 8 to 5, and Friday 9 to 5. Closed weekends.

How often should I see the dentist?

Most people do well with a checkup and cleaning every six months, though some need more frequent visits. We’ll recommend a schedule based on your individual oral health.

What should I do in a dental emergency?

Call us first at 604-856-7860. We keep room in the schedule for urgent cases and will give you first-aid guidance over the phone and see you as quickly as possible, often the same day.

Will I need X-rays at my first visit?

Usually yes, unless you have recent X-rays we can obtain from a previous dentist. We use low-dose digital X-rays to see between and beneath teeth where problems hide, so we can catch issues early.

Ready to book your visit?
